Sašo Bunc

Sašo Bunc has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Sašo is currently working as the Strategy & Business Ops Lead at paretos, where they started in November 2021. Prior to this, Sašo founded their own company called scaaled in September 2021.

In 2021, Sašo also served as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Demium, a leading European incubator. During this time, they participated in the AllStartup Weekend competition and was invited to a 6-month incubation program to develop and fund a startup.

Before that, Sašo worked as an MBA Intern - Strategy & Innovation at Invenio Growth in 2020. In this role, they defined a new digital business strategy and target acquisitions for a Swedish security company.

Sašo's earlier experience includes working as a Vice President of Investor Relations at Entrepreneurship Club at Esade in 2019, a Corporate Finance Manager at Deloitte Consulting from 2017 to 2019, and a Senior Consultant at Transaction Advisory Services at EY from 2016 to 2017.

Additionally, Sašo has interned at Leaders Global Network and Bank of Slovenia, and served as the Vice President of TopEF, a student society focused on fostering cooperation between the business world and students.

Throughout their career, Sašo has demonstrated strong leadership, analytical, and client-facing skills. Sašo has successfully managed large projects, mentored teams, and achieved promotions ahead of the average promotion cycle.

Sašo Bunc completed their Bachelor's degree in Money and Finance at the Faculty of Economics, Ljubljana University from 2011 to 2014. In 2013-2014, they participated in an exchange semester at Queen's University, focusing on Finance. Sašo went on to pass all exams of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) on their first attempt, earning him a certification from the CFA Institute in March 2020. Currently, Sašo is an incoming MBA candidate at Esade, set to join the Class of 2021.
