Garth Burke

Garth Burke is an accomplished architectural professional with a diverse background in design and education. Currently serving as a Job Captain and Architectural Designer at Parette Somjen Architects since January 2021, Garth previously contributed to the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning through various roles, including being part of the COVID-19 Student Response Team, assisting in pandemic-related architectural efforts, and serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for architecture history courses. Earlier experience includes a design internship with Professor Gabriella D’Angelo, where Garth engaged in landscape design and educational projects. Garth holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Studies from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, complemented by a high school education from Delbarton School.
