Josh Share

Mr. Share has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources in the energy sector, with broad expertise in leading international and domestic HR, Communications and Corporate Services functions. His international experience includes operations and new country entry in Canada, US, UK, Colombia, China, Ireland, Senegal, Guyana and Nigeria. Mr. Share joined Parex Resources in 2019 as VP Corporate Services.

Mr. Share began his HR career at Nexen, gaining experience in Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition before moving to BP Canada. He then transferred to BP in the US and assumed roles of increasing responsibility across their Upstream Segment becoming HR Director for Western Hemisphere. In 2014, Josh returned to Nexen as General Manager, HR Business Partners, accountable for strategic client relationships for a variety of functions, including IT, Engineering & Construction, Supply Chain Management, Subsurface Excellence & Technology and Drilling & Completions, ensuring these business units were structured for success and aligned to the business strategy. Later, he took on the role of General Manager - Total Rewards & HR Programs, followed by VP, HR, Communications and Corporate Services for the integrated Nexen/CNOOC International businesses.

He obtained a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Winnipeg and a Master of Business Administration from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
