Gwyn Bebb

Gwyn Bebb has extensive experience in the field of oncology and clinical research. Gwyn is currently working as the Senior Vice President and Global Therapeutic Area Head for Oncology at Parexel. Prior to this, they held the position of Clinical Research Medical Director at Amgen from 2021 to 2023.

Before transitioning to the industry, Gwyn Bebb had a long and successful academic career at the University of Calgary. Gwyn served as the Medical Lead for the Precision Oncology Experimental Therapeutics Program (POET), where they secured significant funding and established partnerships with external organizations. Gwyn also founded the Glans Look Lung Cancer Research Program, leading advanced clinical trials and making significant contributions to the field.

Earlier in their career, Gwyn Bebb worked as a Medical Oncologist at Alberta Health Services and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. Gwyn held leadership positions within the Bebb Lab and played a crucial role in managing research trials and leading a team of employees and students.

Gwyn Bebb has a diverse education history. They obtained a Bachelor of Medicine (BM) degree in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford. They also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Pathology from The University of British Columbia. In addition, Gwyn studied Preclinical Medicine at St. Mary's Hospital Medical School, University of London. They furthered their education at the University of Cambridge, earning a Master of Science (MS) and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Natural Sciences. Gwyn Bebb also holds several relevant certifications, including Medical Oncology Subspecialty Examination from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and various licensing exams from the Medical Council of Canada.
