Julia Cooper

Julia Cooper has extensive work experience in the field of medical writing. Julia has worked at Parexel for many years, holding various senior positions including Corporate Vice President, Head of Global Medical Writing Services, Vice President, Head of Global Medical Writing Services, Senior Director, Worldwide Head of Medical Writing Services, Associate Director, Medical Writing Services Europe, and Senior Medical Writer. Before joining Parexel, Julia worked as a Medical Writer at HOECHST MARION ROUSSEL AG and as an Industrial Post-Doctoral Researcher at Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Julia also has experience as a Guest Research Fellow at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB, and as a Research Fellow at Technische Universität München. Additionally, Julia has been involved in various committee positions at the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA).

Julia Cooper studied at the University of Cambridge from 1983 to 1990, where they obtained an MA and PhD in Natural Sciences. Additionally, they received the certification of Fellow, Chartered Chemist of the Royal Society of Chemistry from the Royal Society of Chemistry in December 2021.
