Shannon MacQuarrie

Shannon Macquarrie has extensive experience in the field of clinical research and project management. Shannon joined Parexel in 2022 as the Senior Vice President, Global Project Leadership and previously served as the Vice President, Client Delivery. Prior to Parexel, they worked at CATO SMS as the Vice President, Clinical Trial Operations from 2020 to 2021. Shannon also held a position at PPD as the Executive Director, Project Management - Hematology/Oncology from 2016 to 2020. Shannon has had multiple roles at PAREXEL, serving as the Sr. Director, Project Management from 2013 to 2016 and the Director, Project Management from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Shannon worked at Omnicare Clinical Research as a Sr. Project Manager from 2007 to 2009 and at PPD as a Sr. Clinical Research Associate from 2005 to 2007. Shannon began their career at Interactive Clinical Technologies, Inc. (ICTI) as the Director of Clinical Services from 2000 to 2003 and later became the Business Development Manager from 2003 to 2005.

Shannon Macquarrie has a Master of Science degree from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Mount Olive. Additionally, they have studied Biological Sciences at North Carolina State University.
