Tomasz H. Zastawny

Tomasz H. Zastawny, PhD, DSc has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Tomasz H. currently holds the position of Chief Drug Development Officer - Americas at Parexel since 2023. Previously, they served as the Senior Vice President of Development at Rakuten Medical from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they worked as the Vice President, Head of Clinical Operations at Epizyme in Ipsen from 2019 to 2021. Tomasz H. also held the role of Chief Development Officer (CDO) at Adial Pharmaceuticals from 2017 to 2019. Tomasz has a diverse range of experience, including roles as Vice President of Drug Development at AVEO Oncology and Amrita Therapeutics, President and CEO at ECRC LLC, and Vice President of Research & Development at Nanōmix. Prior to these positions, they served as Director of Clinical Operations at Infinity Pharmaceuticals and Pro-Pharmaceuticals.

Tomasz H. Zastawny, PhD, DSc has a diverse education history. Tomasz H. obtained a Certificate in the High Potentials Leadership Program from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2020. In 2021, they pursued Business Administration and Management courses through Harvard Business School Online. Tomasz H. earned their DSc in Biochemistry from the Polish Academy of Science, Warsaw, Poland in 1997-1998, following which they obtained a PhD in Medical Sciences from Nicolaus Copernicus University between 1990 and 1992. To further enhance their skills, they pursued a Mini-MBA in Strategic Management from WSB Schools of Banking in Poland in 1999-2000. Lastly, they completed their MSc in Biochemistry from the University of Lodz between 1983 and 1988.
