Flavio Gaeta

Flavio Gaeta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning different industries and roles. Flavio is currently the VP of IT & CyberSecurity at Parfin, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, in May 2022, they became the CEO of TechTrends Consulting LLC.

Flavio's longest tenure was at BTG Pactual, where they worked from 2007 to 2022. Flavio held several positions during this time, including Head of IT Shared Services (Executive Director) from November 2019 to July 2022 and from August 2016 to November 2019. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing technology operations, implementing information security programs, and leading infrastructure teams.

Before joining BTG Pactual, Flavio held the position of Global Head of Tech Architecture & IT Governance (Executive Director) from an unspecified start date to July 2016. In this role, they focused on aligning IT strategies with business objectives and communicating with stakeholders.

Flavio's earlier experiences include being the Head of IT Technical Architecture (Director) at BTG Pactual, Head of Data Architecture (Associate Director) at BTG Pactual, CEO of SOS Franshising, and Researcher at COPPE/UFRJ. Flavio also started their career as a Junior Engineer at SafeMetal and worked as an Intern at CETUC/PUC-RJ.

Throughout their career, Flavio has demonstrated strong leadership skills, collaboration with stakeholders, and expertise in IT infrastructure, architecture, and cybersecurity. Flavio has also received recognition for their sales and profit achievements in the educational franchising industry.

Flavio Gaeta attended the Harvard Business School in 2012, where they completed the BTG Pactual Executives Program. In 1998, they enrolled at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, focusing on system, networking, and LAN/WAN management. From 1990 to 1995, Gaeta studied engineering at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, specializing in electric systems.
