Mareike Mende-Ratnam

Mareike Mende-Ratnam has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mareike currently holds the position of CHRO at Douglas GmbH and is also a member of the Supervisory Board at Parfümerie Douglas Deutschland GmbH. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Board Member for Germany at Douglas. Before joining Douglas, Mareike worked in several roles at METRO AG, starting as Head of HR Experts and subsequently transitioning to Head of Human Resources Development at METRO PROPERTIES GmbH & Co.KG. Mareike also gained experience as the Head of Human Resources - Real Estate at MCCI Asia Singapore. Mareike's earlier roles include serving as the Head of Management Development at METRO Group Asset Management and working in Strategic Human Resources Development at METRO Group Asset Management, Germany. Mareike began their career as an Office staff member at CeveyConsutling.

Mareike Mende-Ratnam attended the University of Tübingen from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Magister degree in Education and Sociology. In 2020, they also completed a certification program in Supervisory and Board Membership at Board Academy.
