Devender Sharma

Devender Sharma has over two decades of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Devender currently holds the position of Vice President & Head of Human Resources at Parijat Industries India Pvt. Ltd., where they have been working since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the AVP of Human Resources from April 2020 to May 2022 and as the General Manager of HR from October 2017 to March 2020, both at the same company.

Before joining Parijat Industries, Devender worked at Quadra Infatel Synergies Pvt. Ltd. as a Senior Manager of Human Resources from October 2009 to May 2014. During their time there, they completed HR activities for the company, designed the organization structure, and set up the complete HR department.

From November 2007 to October 2009, Devender served as the Manager of Human Resources at Legend Surface Developers Pvt. Ltd. Their responsibilities included recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, and overall HR management.

Devender's earlier work experience includes roles as a Senior Executive of HR at KHD Humboldt Wedag India Pvt. Ltd. from 2006 to 2007, an Executive at Modi-Mundipharma from 2005 to 2006, and an Executive of HR at Stanvac Superon Group from 2002 to 2005.

Devender Sharma's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled in the New Delhi YMCA to pursue a post graduation in Management with a focus on HR. Devender completed this degree in 2002.

In 2018, Devender obtained a certification in HR Analytics from the Executive Education program at IIM Ahmedabad. The following year, in 2019, they obtained the Certified Performance Management Ready certification from Aon AHLC.

More recently, in 2022, Devender attended the Indian School of Business to participate in the CHRO Program. This program focused on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, and concluded in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Devender obtained a certification in Certified OD & Change Management practitioner from the University of Pacific Wales USA, although the specific month of this achievement is not provided.
