David Gay

David Gay is the current Executive Director and President at Paringa Resources. David has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, having served as President for various coal companies including Quaker Coal Company, West Virginia - Indiana Coal Holding Company, and Branham and Baker Coal Company. David also spent three years as an independent mining consultant before joining Alpha Natural Resources as their VP of Mergers and Acquisitions in 2003. In 2012, they left Alpha Natural Resources to start their own company, International Energy Consultants. David Gay has a long history of success in the mining industry, and their experience will no doubt continue to benefit Paringa Resources.

David Gay has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Business Administration from Marshall University, and is certified as a Professional Mining Engineer from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

David Gay reports to Egan J. Antill, CEO & Managing Director. David Gay works with Gregory Swan - Company Secretary, Bruce Czachor - Vice President, General Counsel, and Brent Hawley - Director of Surface Operations.
