Park Academy
Alexander Davis is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, creative roles, and operational management. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher at Park Academy since January 2022, Alexander has also held positions such as Creative at AzureBlu since May 2013 and Camp Instructor at OMSI during the summer of 2022. Previous roles include Operational Specialist at Earth Class Mail, where management of a 15-member team was a key responsibility, and volunteer work at OMSI, which involved facilitating science programs for youth. Additional experience encompasses roles in customer service, animal care, and intern positions related to zoology. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Oregon State University and an Associate degree in Biology and Management of Zoo Animals from Portland Community College.

Park Academy
Park Academy is the only school in Oregon with an articulated elementary through high school curriculum specifically designed for students with dyslexia. Park Academy uses evidence-based methods that are multi-sensory, sequential, and highly structured. These techniques are applicable to all areas of study and have been proven to increase reading fluency and overall academic performance. Support systems are in place to ensure a respectful, welcoming, and family-like environment. Park Academy offers a low student-to-teacher ratio with a complete range of core academic and enrichment classes, including Theater, Spanish, Visual Arts, Music, Culinary Arts and Physical Education. Park Academy is located on South Shore Boulevard in Lake Oswego, approximately ten minutes south of downtown Portland. Park Academy is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission (AdvancED) and is a designated Candidate School with Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS). These organizations provide both program oversight and professional development resources.
