Italia Michael has extensive work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Italia is currently the Head of Strategic Planning at Park Avenue Securities, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, Italia worked at Guardian Life, where they held several roles including Director of Agile Product Manager, Product Manager, and Lead Business Analyst/Project Manager from 2012 to 2022. Before joining Guardian Life, they worked at A.M. Best Company as a Product Manager, Sales Analyst, and Technical Writer, starting in 2002.
Italia Michael completed their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from DeSales University, from the year 1997 to 2001. Italia obtained a certification in Certified SAFe® 5 Agile Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2020.
