Paul Morton is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Board Trustee for Northern Roots Project since June 2021, Paul has also held the position of Group Finance Director at Park Cake Bakeries since January 2015, where notable achievements include successfully completing a management buy-out and securing debt funding. Previously, as Finance Director at Real Good Food plc for Napier Brown Sugar, Paul played a pivotal role in increasing EBITDA from less than £1 million to over £6 million within three years and facilitated due diligence for the business’s sale. Additional experience includes roles as Operations Financial Controller at Renshaw Napier and a Six Sigma Black Belt at Eli Lilly and Company, where Paul also served as Finance Manager and led SAP implementation. Paul holds a B.A. Hons in Accounting and Management Control from Sheffield Hallam University and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
