Kathleen Halbach

Kathleen Halbach has over 25 years of experience in the mental health and addictions treatment field. Currently serving as an Addictions Therapist and Program Manager at Park Center, Inc. since March 1997, Kathleen collaborates with community agencies to enhance access to treatment for minority and refugee/immigrant populations. Prior to this role, Kathleen worked as a Licensed Addictions Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Midwest Addictions Psychiatric and Psychological Services from January 2011 to February 2016, providing diagnostic assessments and leading addictions groups. Kathleen's early experience includes a position at the Stress Center of Adams Co. Memorial Hospital from July 1996 to March 1997. Kathleen holds a Master's degree in Counselor Education with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from IPFW, earned between 1989 and 2005.

Park Center has been serving Nashville for over 35 years, providing a place for hope and recovery for people experiencing mental illness, homelessness and addiction. We meet people where they are and provide support through treatment, housing, day programs and employment services. We provide hope and help to our members to navigate challenges and better live and work in the community. We have pioneered and trained other non-profits in breakthrough methods to employment and partnered with Vanderbilt University Medical Center in one of the country's first street psychiatry programs.
