Maria Potvin is an experienced professional with a strong background in management and counseling. Currently serving as the Manager of SOAR at Park Center since February 2019, Maria previously worked as an Insurance Coordinator at Sango Smiles Pediatric Dentistry from March 2018 to February 2019. Prior to that role, Maria worked as a Counselor at Barefoot Republic Camp & Retreat Center, where conflict resolution techniques were employed to coach campers in healthy interpersonal relationships. Maria holds two degrees from Austin Peay State University: a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology.

Park Center has been serving Nashville for over 35 years, providing a place for hope and recovery for people experiencing mental illness, homelessness and addiction. We meet people where they are and provide support through treatment, housing, day programs and employment services. We provide hope and help to our members to navigate challenges and better live and work in the community. We have pioneered and trained other non-profits in breakthrough methods to employment and partnered with Vanderbilt University Medical Center in one of the country's first street psychiatry programs.
