Bob Sargent is a seasoned professional in the insurance and InsurTech sectors, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of eSpecialty Insurance since April 2021. Sargent contributes as a Founding Member of the InsurTech Association, and has extensive experience as an Advisor, Consultant, and Investor since July 2008, focusing on strategic advisory roles and investing in early-stage insurance innovations. Additional roles include serving on the Advisory Board of Aureus Analytics, investing in Park City Angels, and holding board positions with ExpertConnect and Riverton Insurance Agency Corp. Sargent is also the Managing Partner of Tennant Capital Partners, a venture capital firm specializing in insurance-related businesses. Educational credentials include an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Economics from Middlebury College.

The Park City Angels are a group of 50+ accredited investors located in Park City, Utah. We look to invest in promising opportunities that can produce significant shareholder return. The active lifestyle of Park City has attracted many dynamic and successful business leaders that have deep experience in building world class businesses. We facilitate unique, high-caliber networking and development forums for angel investors and mentors involved in early-stage investment. Mission Our mission is to promote best practice in order to reduce risk in early-stage investments for the benefit of entrepreneurs, investors and the community. Team Our members are drawn from private groups, including investors and mentors who are interested in supporting and/or financing early-stage ventures. Our members have in common a strong desire, willingness, and capability to support ventures. We invest in areas where we believe our group can be a true value-added investor. Within our group is an environment where self help and camaraderie predominate, and where members can develop confidence in their early-stage investment skills. Focus PCA typically invests in companies with pre-money valuations in the range of $5M - $50M, but we occasionally consider opportunities that are outside this range.
