Shawn Achterberg

Shawn Achterberg has a diverse work experience in various industries. Shawn started their career in 2008 at Menards, where they served as an Assistant Front Office Manager before transitioning to the Carpeting department. In 2013, Shawn joined Footlocker.com/Eastbay as an Accounting Administrator, responsible for cash and banking. Shawn later took on roles as a Staff Accountant, Accounting Manager, and Senior Accounting Manager, overseeing various financial functions. In 2017, Shawn joined Ki Mobility as a Senior Accountant, handling month-end activities and assisting with audits. Since 2018, they have been working at Park City Credit Union, initially as a Controller and currently as the Chief Financial Officer, managing accounting and compliance departments, overseeing financial statements, budgeting, vendor contracts, and more.

Shawn Achterberg completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2013. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2020.
