Emily Smith Markey

Emily Smith Markey currently serves as Vice President of Corporate Responsibility at Park Hotels & Resorts, where responsibilities include ESG and Risk Management. Previously, Emily held roles as Senior Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Responsibility, as well as Senior Director of Corporate Strategy, focusing on investor-related materials and corporate strategy development for a $9 billion real estate investment trust. With extensive experience in business development at Benchmark Resorts & Hotels and investment analysis at RLJ Lodging Trust, Emily has also contributed to hotel valuations and market studies at HVS. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from Johns Hopkins University, a Master’s in Hospitality Management from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor’s in French and History from Tulane University.
