Ava Gonzalez

Ava Gonzalez has gained diverse experience through multiple leadership and management roles since 2021. Currently a caddie at Park Ridge Country Club, Ava provides expert advice to golfers on club selection and course navigation. As the director of the Sex Ed Initiative, Ava has empowered high school students to achieve equitable sexual health education standards while also managing social media outreach for the initiative. In the role of lieutenant governor for Key Club International, Ava received the Robert F. Lucas Outstanding Lieutenant Governor Award for exemplary service. As vice president of Project Her, Ava focuses on gender equity through literary works and community engagement. Ava is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with prior education at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy and Taft High School.
