Lisa Conrad

Head of School at PARK SCHOOL OF BUFFALO

Lisa Conrad was appointed to the role of permanent Head of School in July 2021. She came to Park in 2012 as a Middle and Upper School Spanish teacher. Before coming to Park, Lisa taught four years of middle and high school Spanish in the Frontier Central School District and at West Seneca West Senior High School.

While at Frontier, Lisa was an advisor of the Herman Badillo Bilingual Academy Friendship Program which partnered students from urban and suburban school districts, and she served on the Foreign Language Honor Society selection committee for junior and senior level students. Her tenure at Frontier adapting curriculum for students with special needs including those with IEPs, 504s, and heritage language learners.

In addition to her Spanish teaching duties at Park, Lisa has served as a 7th grade homeroom teacher and Middle School advisor. She is affiliated with the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers and the Western New York Foreign Language Educators’ Council.

Lisa has also worked in Park’s Admissions Office, filling in one summer as an assistant to the Director of Enrollment Management and enjoys touring new students and their families around The Park School.

Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Spanish Adolescence Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, both from the University at Buffalo.
