Matthew Shelley

Matthew Shelley is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and bank relationship management. Currently serving as Group Treasurer at Park Square Capital since February 2018, Matthew previously held the same position at 3i Group plc, where significant achievements included refinancing a £350 million revolving credit facility and enhancing counterparty risk measurement on derivatives. Earlier roles at Tesco included Treasury Operations Manager and European Treasurer, where Matthew developed and implemented various FX hedging strategies. Matthew’s career began at Deloitte UK as an Internal Auditor, and educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from The University of Manchester, along with FCCA and MCT certifications.
