Yvette Karanja

Yvette Karanja has a diverse work experience. Yvette is currently an Ambassador for Women in Games, a role they started in January 2024. Yvette is also a Member of Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) since September 2023. Prior to these roles, they held multiple positions at Park University, including President of the Cybersecurity Defense Club, Association of Student Athletes, Admissions Outreach Specialist, and Team Captain. Yvette was also a Senator in the Park Student Government Association from March 2022 to February 2023. Yvette has also worked as an Information Security Analyst at BCD Travel from May 2023 to December 2023. Before that, they were a Marketing Specialist at Resolution Insurance Kenya from January 2019 to October 2019. Yvette Karanja's earliest work experience was as a Sergeant at St John Ambulance, where they served from January 2015 to October 2019.

Yvette Karanja has a high school diploma from Bristar High School, obtained in the years 2014-2018. Yvette is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Park University, starting in 2020. In addition, Yvette has obtained certifications in CCNA: Introduction to Networks from Cisco and Qualys Certification in 2023. Yvette also holds The Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Standard Award from The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, obtained in 2018.
