Melanie Stimmell van Latum

Melanie Stimmell Van Latum is a distinguished fine artist and surface pattern designer with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a fine artist with Park West Gallery since November 2021, Van Latum has also maintained a long-term role as a fine artist at MelanieStimmell.com since 1998. As the creative director and co-founder of We Talk Chalk, a 3D street painting company, Van Latum has demonstrated leadership and innovation since January 2012. Previously, from 1998 to 2005, Van Latum worked as a technical director at South Park Studios. The educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design (1994-1998) and a Master's degree in Drawing and Painting from California State University, Fullerton (2002-2005).
