Palesa Pearl Olifant

Palesa Pearl Olifant is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in the arts and management. As an Art Associate at Park West Gallery since January 2022, Palesa collaborates with an art auctioneer, gallery director, and preparator to promote the onboard art program while engaging in various administrative and marketing tasks. In addition, Palesa has served as the Youth Sector President at FIDAF SA since September 2019, overseeing indigenous dance groups and managing related documentation. Previous roles include Executive Assistant at Mary and Daughters Security Practice and Director at the South African State Theatre, where Palesa contributed to administrative tasks and production choreography. Palesa's academic background includes an Honours Degree and a Bachelor's degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts from the University of Pretoria. Palesa's artistic journey also includes performance experience with the Spanish Embassy's cultural office.
