Lorraine Breuer has been with Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, Ltd. for over 23 years, and is currently the Senior Vice President of the Nerken Center for Research and Grants. Prior to their current position, Breuer served as the Corporate Compliance Officer and Vice President of Research and Grants at Parker Jewish Institute. Breuer has also held positions as the Associate Vice President for Research and Grants, Assistant Vice President for Research and Grants, and Assistant Director for Research and Grants.
In addition to their work at Parker Jewish Institute, Breuer has also worked as the Assistant Director of Strategic Planning and Development at HIP Health Plan of New York, a Consultant at Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council, and a Managed Care Consultant at Suffolk County Department of Health Services. Breuer has also served as the Director of Health Care Marketing and Information Systems at Nassau-Suffolk Health Systems Agency and as a Consultant at Legend Pharmaceuticals.
Breuer’s experience in the healthcare industry spans over 30 years, with a focus on research and grants. Her work has helped numerous organizations secure funding for important projects, and they have played a vital role in the growth and development of Parker Jewish Institute. Under their leadership, the Nerken Center for Research and Grants has become one of the premier research centers in the country.
Lorraine Breuer graduated from St. Joseph's College with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and from Binghamton University with a Master of Arts (M.A.).
