Pamela Vassar

Pamela Vassar has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as Controller at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP since August 1998, overseeing the firm's financial management, billing, accounts payable, and collections, while supervising a team of 14 employees. Previously, Pamela held the roles of Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager, with similar responsibilities, as well as managing billing operations as Accounts Receivable Manager. Earlier career experience includes positions as an Accounting Clerk at Charter Charleston and the Naval Hospital, where responsibilities encompassed medical billing, reconciliation, and accounts payable. Pamela's military background includes serving as an Accounting Specialist in the United States Air Force. Educationally, Pamela holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Strayer University and an Associate's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
