Robert Florence

Robert Florence is a registered patent attorney who has specialized in intellectual property, patents, trademarks, and related business litigation since January 2016 as a partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP. Florence has extensive experience litigating ANDA cases under the Hatch-Waxman Act. Previous roles include equity shareholder at Workman Nydegger from June 2014 to December 2015 and partner at McGuireWoods LLP, where Florence served from November 2004 to May 2014, also working as an associate. Earlier experience includes an associate position at Troutman Sanders LLP from September 2002 to October 2004. Robert Florence earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of New Hampshire School of Law from 1999 to 2002 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a teaching certificate in secondary education from the University of Utah, completed in 1998.
