Amy Young

Amy Young is a seasoned Healthcare Administrator with extensive experience in hospital administration. Currently, Amy serves as a Healthcare Administrator at Parkhurst NuVision since February 2023. Prior to this role, Amy held the position of Healthcare Administrator at Kaiser Permanente from August 2015 to February 2023, overseeing nursing operations at Kaiser Redwood City Medical Center, which included successfully leading the organization through the Joint Commission Triennial Survey in 2019 and the Comprehensive Stroke Survey in 2020. Additionally, Amy served as an Administrator at South Texas Surgical Hospital from 2010 to 2013. Academically, Amy holds an Executive Leader Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of San Francisco, along with a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing and a Bachelor of Applied Science from The University of Texas at Arlington, as well as two MBAs—one in Hospitality Administration/Management and another in Health Care Administration/Management from Western Governors University.
