Jim Mecham

Jim’s parking career with Parking Concepts commenced in 1991, he was hired to be their Project Manager for their Los Angeles County Beach parking contract. This contract involved 33 locations spread over 60 miles of coastline and generated in excess of $5,000,000 in revenue per year. Jim had previously managed the Salt Lake Airport Parking, the John Wayne Airport Parking and Shuttle Services and Wally Park. Jim provided invaluable leadership in screening, hiring and training and managing parking employees for the very challenging County of Los Angeles Beach parking concession.

Jim’s proactive management style and strong work ethic was recognized early resulting in rapid advancement to higher positions including the assignment of Project Manager at the County of Los Angeles Music Center. He was instrumental in generating substantial improvement to parking revenue, reduced expenses and at the same time, enhanced customer service. Not to further down the road, Jim was promoted to the position of District Manager with responsibility for several of PCI’s most prestigious accounts in both Orange and Riverside Counties. As his portfolio grew along with responsibilities, PCI promoted Jim to Regional Director of Operations in 2021.

A seasoned and energetic parking executive, Jim welcomes the opportunity to apply his creative and energetic management style for their valued clients. He is presently officed in their Irvine Regional Office near the Great Park.
