Joy Sunderland has worked in various roles since 1999. Joy began their career as an Assistant Buyer for Cooley Group in 1999. In 2004, they moved to Stamas Auto & Truck Center as an Office Manager. In 2007, they worked as a Recording Clerk for Bristol County Registry of Deeds. From 2012 to 2014, they were an Administrator for Metlife Auto & Home and Office Administrator for Randstad USA. In 2015, they became an Administrative Assistant for Ryder Transportation and in 2017, they took on the role of Corporate Receptionist for Parkinson Technologies.

Joy Sunderland attended CEI in 2003 to study Medical Administrative Assistant. In 2017, they obtained a certification as a Rhode Island Notary Public.
