Dawn Lewis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management and event planning, currently serving as the Advancement Director for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Parkinson's Foundation since July 2019. In this role, Dawn oversees special event planning for Moving Day walks and develops strategic direction for donor stewardship. Previously, Dawn held the position of Constituents Event Manager at the Alzheimer's Association, where responsibilities included leading event planning for The Walk to End Alzheimer’s™ and managing sponsorship partnerships. Dawn's background also includes roles as Business Development & Outreach Director at Senior Helpers, Director of Operations at Victory Housing, Executive Director at Atria Senior Living, and Relationship Manager at AARP, showcasing a strong track record in operations management, relationship building, and strategic planning. Dawn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology from the University of Maryland.
