Rosie Morris

Rosie Morris is an accomplished academic and researcher with a focus on neurological physiotherapy, particularly in the context of Parkinson's disease. Currently serving as a National Institute for Health Research Advanced Fellow and Associate Professor at Northumbria University, Morris leads efforts to enhance rehabilitation strategies in this field. With extensive experience as Lead of the Parkinson's Research Interest Group in North East and Cumbria, Morris promotes patient and public involvement in research. Previous roles include postdoctoral fellow positions at Oregon Health and Science University and Newcastle University, where significant contributions were made to projects on non-invasive treatments for Parkinson's disease. Additionally, clinical experience was gained through various physiotherapy positions, including at On Medical Ltd and The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Morris holds a PhD in Neuroscience and has a strong background in clinical research methodologies.
