Shonna Haines holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resources Management and Services from MacEwan University, obtained between 2010 and 2014. Shonna has significant experience in human resources, currently serving as the Manager of Human Resources & Safety at Parkland County since February 2018, with previous roles including Supervisor, Human Resources; Human Resources Business Partner; Human Resources Specialist; and Safety and Training Clerk. Prior to this, Shonna worked at the Workers' Compensation Board in Vocational Services from November 2015 to August 2017, and as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant at Cabela's Canada from August 2014 to August 2015. Shonna also holds certifications as a Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and Certified Talent Management Professional (CTMP).
