Ruth Ifediora Ph.d.

Ruth Ifediora Ph.D., RM, RN, CCHP-RN, is a seasoned nursing professional and community advocate currently serving as a Senior Nurse Educator at Parkland Hospital since January 2019, where responsibilities include coordinating the Correctional Health Nursing Residency and developing training strategies for nursing staff. As the President of Comfort Foundation, founded in 2016, Ruth is dedicated to fostering social justice, inclusivity, and equality, particularly within health and education sectors. Additionally, Ruth has experience as a Licensed Independent Financial Professional with WFG - World Financial Group since September 2020, and previously held various nursing and educational roles, including Unit Based Nurse Educator at Parkland Health and Hospital System and Administrator at Smartcare Health Services, Inc. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Nursing Leadership from Walden University and an MSN in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University.
