Kelly Powers has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Learning Support Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and Substitute Teacher at Parkland since August 2014. Additionally, Kelly has been a self-employed Private Tutor and SAT Prep Tutor since January 2005, providing personalized instruction in reading, math, and test preparation. Previous roles include positions in the Salisbury Township School District as a Substitute Teacher and Clerical Secretary, and as a Middle School Autistic Support Teacher in the Northampton Area School District. Kelly's experience also includes tenure as a Special Education Teacher at The Hillside School and as an Educational Consultant for WLVT-PBS39. Kelly holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Cedar Crest College and a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Bloomsburg University.
