Melodie Stinner began their work experience as a Mathematics Teacher at Louis E Dieruff High School in August 1984, a role they held until June 2002. In 2002, they joined the Parkland School District as the Mathematics Department Head.

Melodie Stinner began their education journey in 1980 at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education Mathematics. Melodie successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1984. Continuing their academic pursuits, they then enrolled in the same university for a Master of Science degree in Mathematics. Melodie dedicated the next five years, from 1980 to 1989, to this program, ultimately completing their education in the field of Mathematics at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
