Tom Derhammer

Tom Derhammer has extensive experience in the field of technology. Tom began their career at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as an IT Associate from 2000 to 2003. Tom then joined the Allentown School District, where they worked as a Business/IT Teacher from 2003 to 2011, and later as the Director of Technology from 2011 to 2018. Currently, Tom is working at Parkland School District as the Information Technology Supervisor since 2018 and recently became the Director of Technology in June 2021.

Tom Derhammer completed their education with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Lehigh University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained another Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Before pursuing their master's degrees, Tom earned a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate from Gwynedd Mercy University in 2005, specializing in Business, Computers & Info Tech (K-12). Tom began their educational journey by completing their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computers and Information Systems (CIS) from King's College in 2003.
