John Cowhig Jr

John Cowhig Jr has a diverse work experience in software engineering and IT. John started their career as a Research Specialist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they performed bioinformatics analysis and system administration tasks. John then worked as a Developer at Triplingo, contributing to the development and launch of a language learning and travel companion app. John later established their own company, CowCo Tech Services, LLC, where they served as the CEO and undertook freelance software development and IT projects for clients such as CDC, Cisco, IBM, and HP. Following this, they joined BLiNQ Media as a Software Engineer before joining Parkmobile, LLC as a Software Engineer. Within Parkmobile, they gradually progressed to become a Lead Software Engineer, managing a team and overseeing the transition of projects to container-based deployments using Kubernetes and Docker. John also worked on implementing go microservices for workload management on legacy platforms.
