Louise Tieman

Louise Tieman is an experienced finance and management professional with a robust background in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Finance & Budget Supervisor at Metro Parks Tacoma since January 2022, Tieman oversees the financial team in the Parks & Rec Department, focusing on budget development and management. Previous positions include Finance & HR Manager at Peninsula Metropolitan Park District, Comptroller at Tacoma Elks and Allenmore Golf & Event Center, and President & CEO of the World Trade Center Tacoma. Tieman's expertise encompasses financial oversight, strategic restructuring, and operational management within both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Educational qualifications include a BA from the University of Puget Sound, a Certification in Accounting from the University of Washington, and an MBA in Finance from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.
