Alex Malamos has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2022. They started their career as a Food Service Worker at Dairy Queen in 2006 and later worked as a Marketing Intern at The Salvation Army in 2011. After that, they worked as a Bank Teller at West Suburban Bank from 2011 to 2013.
In 2012, Alex became an E-Newsletter Editor at Neighbors Magazines where they wrote press releases, proofread for print magazine, and created and edited images using Photoshop. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Search Marketing Analyst at In The Swim, where they conducted competitive keyword analysis, optimized online stores, and edited website content.
In 2017, Alex joined DieQua Corporation as a Digital Marketing Manager, responsible for writing blogs, optimizing Google AdWords campaigns, and creating content for various social media platforms. They worked in this role until October 2020.
From 2021 to 2022, Alex worked as a Marketing Specialist at LOCINOX, where they added products to an Amazon shop, managed Google Ads, and updated the company's e-commerce website. Currently, they are working as a Marketing Specialist (Exterior Products) at Parksite, where they design marketing materials, optimize website SEO, and handle the packing and shipping of marketing collateral.
Alex Malamos attended Bradley University from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communication and History. In addition to their formal education, Alex has obtained several certifications including the Google Ads - Measurement Certification and the Google Analytics Individual Qualification, which were obtained in February 2023. Alex also holds the BrightEdge Professional Certification in SEO Marketing Tools, which was acquired in September 2014.
