Karl Gustafson has a diverse work experience in the marketing and media design field. Karl started in 2001 as an Independent Contractor for Superscope Technologies, where they designed and developed multimedia CD-Roms and helped build the Marantz Professional website. From 2002 to 2003, they worked as a Technical Sales Support Supervisor at D+M Group, managing a team and providing technical support. Karl then transitioned to the role of Product and Market Development Specialist, assisting in the expansion of new product strategies. In 2004, they became the Product Manager for Denon and Marantz Professional Products, managing the product life-cycle and bridging the gap between market requirements and engineering resources. From 2009 to 2014, they served as the Marketing Manager at D+M Group, responsible for brand messaging, marketing, advertising, and web and communication activities. In 2014, they briefly worked at inMusic Brands as a Marketing Manager. Finally, since 2014, they have been working as a Freelance Media Designer, conceptualizing and developing advertisements, trade show videos, and annual meeting videos for various clients. Karl currently holds the position of Marketing Product Specialist at Parksite, which started in 2017.
Karl Gustafson received their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Elmhurst University, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended the College of DuPage from 2010 to 2015, earning a degree in General Studies. In 1995, Karl attended Columbia College Chicago for one year to study Television Production. Earlier in their education, they attended Riverside Brookfield High School from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Karl has obtained several certifications, including Learning Local SEO, SEO Foundations (2018), and SEO: Keyword Strategy, all from LinkedIn, in August 2022.
