Laura Williamson

Laura Williamson, MBA-ITM, PSM, PMP, CPHIMS, is a highly experienced professional with a significant background in health information management and project leadership. Currently serving as the HIM Data Integrity Manager at Parkview Health since June 1990, Laura has spearheaded various strategic technology projects encompassing ICD-10 implementation, ECM upgrades, and process improvements. In addition to technical roles such as IS Project Leader and IS Analyst, Laura actively engages with the project management community as the VP of Communications & Marketing at PMI-NEIC, overseeing marketing initiatives and member feedback through surveys. Laura's earlier experiences include coaching athletics at Indian Springs Middle School and providing care as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Education credentials include an MBA in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and a BS in Management Information Systems from Indiana Institute of Technology.
