Michael Yurkanin

Michael Yurkanin, MD, joined Parkview Health in 2014 when Preferred Anesthesia Consultants became Parkview Physicians Group – Anesthesiology. He had served at Preferred Anesthesia Consultants since 1997. He was named Chief Medical Officer of PRMC & Affiliates in 2016 and Chief Medical Officer for Parkview Health in 2023. In his role, he provides executive oversight of and clinical guidance to all hospital associate chief medical officers.

Dr. Yurkanin was named Parkview Physicians Group Board of Managers Chair in 2019.

Dr. Yurkanin graduated from the Wayne State University School of Medicine and did his anesthesia residency at the University of Michigan.
