Wanda Thornton

Wanda Thornton has extensive experience in the nursing and emergency medical fields, currently serving in Interventional Radiology at Parkwest Medical Center since August 2022. Prior roles include Travel Nurse with AMN Healthcare from January 2020 to August 2022 and PACU RN at Advanced Family Surgery Center from September 2019 to December 2019. Thorntons' background features significant critical care expertise with positions like Critical Care Shift Manager and Cath Lab RN at Covenant Health from May 2016 to August 2019, as well as various travel nursing assignments in progressive care and ICU/IMC settings. Earlier in the career, Wanda gained practical experience as a Flight Paramedic and paramedic at Covenant Health and complemented this with teaching as an Adjunct Faculty at Roane State Community College. Thorntons' educational qualifications include an AAS in Registered Nursing from Excelsior University and a Paramedic degree from Roane State Community College.
