Gemma Lienas Massot

Gemma Lienas Massot is an accomplished writer and speaker with extensive experience in politics and publishing. Currently serving as a member of the Parlament de Catalunya since February 2021, Lienas has also held a similar position from September 2015 to January 2018 with the Grupo Político CSQP (ICV). As an independent professional since March 2018, Lienas focuses on writing and public speaking engagements. Previous roles include directing and owning República de Cursiva, S.L., and entrepreneurial ventures such as Xocolatíssim, a cultural chocolate shop. Lienas has contributed to various respected publications, including El País and El Periódico, and has extensive radio experience. Additionally, Lienas coordinated and taught postgraduate programs at the Universitat de Barcelona and served as an editorial advisor for multiple publishing companies. Lienas holds a degree in Philosophy and Letters from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
