Miguel Ángel Ruiz Ortiz

Miguel Ángel Ruiz Ortiz is an experienced politician and educator currently serving as a Diputado in the Parlamento de Andalucía since December 2018, actively participating in multiple commissions focused on education, child protection, and social rights. Miguel Ángel has also led as Vicepresidente of the Comisión de Desarrollo Estatutario and served as Portavoz de Educación, advocating for educational reform and legislation. In addition to political roles, Miguel Ángel is the Founder and Secretary General of Cánovas Fundación, an organization aimed at developing young leaders. Miguel Ángel holds various academic positions at the Universidad de Málaga, contributing to programs in leadership and communication while holding several degrees, including a Licenciado in History and a Máster in Emotional Intelligence and Positive Psychology, with ongoing doctoral studies. Active in the Partido Popular, Miguel Ángel has held significant roles and also presides over the Asociación Española de Debate Escolar, demonstrating a commitment to education and community engagement.
