An Associate in Parlee McLaws’ Calgary office since the completion of her Articles with the firm in 2014, Christiana is an experienced litigator with a practice focused on civil litigation and administrative law, specifically in the areas of energy, construction, aviation, labour and employment, real estate, and insurance.

Christiana regularly represents clients before Courts and Administrative Tribunals, including the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal of Canada, the Appeals Commission for Alberta Workers’ Compensation, the Real Estate Council of Alberta, the Alberta Human Rights Commission, and the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada.

Christiana is admitted to the practice of law in both the Province of Alberta (2014) and New York State (2010).

Prior to joining the firm, Christiana worked in the Appeals and Special Litigation Division at the Westchester County District Attorney, and with a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court. She actively participated in moot court while in law school and represented Albany Law School at the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition in both 2008 and 2009. Christiana received her Bachelor of Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary in 2003.

In addition to English, Christiana speaks fluent Greek.
