Nicolas Janssen

Nicolas Janssen is a seasoned professional in public service and academia, currently serving as a Député and 4e candidat effectif à la Région for the Mouvement Réformateur at the Parlement de Wallonie, with active participation in various commissions related to environment, energy, and education since September 2019. Alongside this role, Nicolas has been a professor at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management since 2013. Previous experience includes positions as an economic advisor at the International Civilian Office under the European Union and multiple roles as an attaché at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1999 to 2014. Nicolas holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, completed between 2002 and 2004, and has an educational background from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
