Alexia Ruiz

Alexia Ruiz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and community leadership. Currently serving as the Orlando Fiverr Community Leader since June 2023, Alexia coordinates in-person and virtual events to enhance networking opportunities within the community. As an English Language Arts Teacher since September 2015, Alexia has worked with students of all ages and backgrounds in the United States, Germany, and Chile, demonstrating a commitment to fostering a love for the English language. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida International University from August 2018 to April 2020 and English Teacher for the National Volunteer Service, recognized with the 2017 Teacher Award of Excellence from the Chilean Ministry of Education and Colegio Centenario. Alexia holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of South Florida.
